(This is needed to add the water and lemon juice mixture slowly, so it doesn’t fizz until it’s dropped into a bath or toilet.) 1. Combine the baking soda and Epsom salt in a glass bowl.
  2. In a separate container, mix the lemon juice with the water.
  3. Gently add a drop of this to the mixture and then stir thoroughly.
  4. Keep adding the water/lemon juice until you have a consistency that can easily be put into a mold.
  5. Just before you set it in the mold, add 20 drops of lemongrass essential oil to the mix and stir thoroughly.
  6. Let the molds sit at room temperature for a day, or maybe even a little longer, depending upon the weather.
  7. Put it outside, so it can dry in the sun.
  8. Enjoy your bath bombs.
  9. They are not that “fizzy,” because they’re not made with citric acid, and it may take them a little while to break down in water.
  10. But they’ll smell wonderful as they dissolve.
Recipe Notes

Many of the bath bomb recipes I found online called for citric acid or cream of tartar. However, I didn’t have either of these ingredients in the house, and I didn’t feel like running to the store to buy them. My motto is, “There’s always another way.”
